Sutton Corrosion Control, Inc. was Founded in Houston in 1973 by Alfred H Sutton II. Current CEO Alfred Sutton III (Buck), has over 25 years hands on experience and knowledge in coating and sandblasting including Shop Helper. Buck graduated in 1979 from Spring Woods High school and attended University of Houston.

That's why Sutton Corrosion Control, Inc. has a NACE certified coating inspector present throughout the entire process to ensure our clients know that their project is in the right hands and will be of the highest quality.

All customers are provided with our QA Surface Preparation & Paint Procedure that has been approved by multiple 3rd party inspectors assisting the end buyers. End buyers such as Anadarko, Consumers Energy, Energy Transfer, ENGlobal, Kinder Morgan, SEP Noble, Tenaris, Weatherford, Noble Midstream Services, CB&I, Sasol, BP, Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, GE, EOG Resources, Williams, XTO Energy, Soudi Aramco, TransTech Energy and many more.

Our coating inspection report includes all the readings required using our calibrated equipment.

We provide dry and wet abrasive blasting.

Our use of the wet abrasive blasting method and known as dustless blasting allows us to come to your facility and complete projects on-site. Wet abrasive blasting allows us to minimize interruptions due to dust, while allowing the customer the convenience of monitoring the projects progress.

Our blast abrasives include coarse, medium and fine sand or any other various abrasives requested by our customer to achieve the desired anchor profile.

Coating Services


At Sutton Corrosion Control, Inc. we utilize high quality equipment to achieve the coating specifications provided by our customers. Our coatings are applied in a closed environment that allows us to ensure that the application meets the customers expectations.

All projects and procedures are continuously supervised. We provide coating inspection reports which detail pointing procedures, temperatures, humidity, dew point, film thickness, and surface patterns.

We use a variety of coatings such as PPG, Carboline, Sherwin Williams, International, Jones Blair or any other brands specified by the customer. These include all types of coatings that can be but are not limited to zinc primer, epoxy primers, coal tar epoxy, enamels and poly-urethanes, two part epoxy, high heat, inorganic zinc primer.
